Eddie Murphy talks "animal"
I saw this movie at Metropolis Antwerp with my two youngest sons, at that time 12 and 8 years old. We enjoyed the movie from start to end, but why? The movie adds nothing new to cinema and Eddie Murphy is not doing anything different from any other movie he's played in. The reason is very plain and simple : the movie still has the best ingredient for people to enjoy themselves, while it is fun, simply fun for a dad and his kids to watch. There are no real surprises in the script, everything turns out the way you think it should, but then again not too obviously. Eddie Murphy carries the movie, as he almost always does. Even tough there's nothing new in the movie, then again there's no horror, no people are getting killed, etc. It's not violent, it's an old but good story and you can watch it many times without getting bored. What better reason do we need to buy a DVD of Cassette?
