The Broken Ear A statue of the Arumbaya Indians is being stolen from the museum. The statue has a distinguishable feature: its ear is broken. The search for the statue brings Tintin to San Theodoros where he accidentally ends up in a political conflict between the rivalling generals Tapioca and Alcazar. Tintin becomes Alcazar trusted friend, but he has to flee when he refuses to close a contract with an arms dealer. Fleeing in the jungle, he meets the Arumbaya Indians and a western explorer who has been living between the Indians for years. Jef from Hoegaarden (Belgium) Bianca Castafiore's Jewels On the run for the gossipy press, Bianca Castafiore announces that she will stay in Moulinsart for a few days. Captain Haddock tries to run from her, but breaks his leg over a stair that has not been repaired yet. He has to watch how Castafiore lands with her employees in Moulinsart. When a jewel of her precious collection is stolen, everybody suspects a bunch of gypsies, who had got Haddocks permission to stay on the territory of his castle. Everybody, that is, except for Tintin. Jef from Hoegaarden (Belgium)
