You know what they say about bad movies? Truthfully speaking, they’re not really bad, it’s the people, by word of mouth, that like to exacerbate things. And boy, hasn’t that one eaten dust out of bottles, been picked on, puked all over… Even those who didn’t go and see it took over the destructive hype and talked so much trash that you wouldn’t know what to think of it. As it turns out, none of that make believe happens to be true and basically Dragonball Evolution is this year’s most entertaining film adaptation! All ingredients from the TV show are reporting for duty in order to please the fans: cheerful sense of humor, characters and their habits (even Master Roshi’s genuine obsession for beautiful women gets a shot at it!), super powers, gadgets, big ape, real life wishing dragon, Piccolo (a very recognizable James Marsters, known from another famous fantasy TV show - Buffy)... For a possible follow-up, Freeza would make for an excellent choice!
